Location: Johnson Creek, WI
Pay: $21.07 per hour, including the second-shift premium
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Job Type: Long-term temporary opportunity, approximately six months, with potential temp-to-hire

Kelly® is hiring a Treater for a manufacturing opportunity in Johnson Creek, WI. This position involves monitoring a chemical treatment process, supporting automated production equipment, and maintaining product quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.

  • Use required PPE while working with the chlorination process and other equipment.

  • Monitor the chlorination process for errors, discrepancies, and tank pH levels.

  • Complete sanitation and cleaning documentation.

  • Transfer in-process parts to and from designated areas.

  • Ensure products meet quality standards.

  • Keep the AVM, or Automatic Venting Machine, running as much as possible.

  • Assist the Shift Supervisor in ensuring packers have product available in their work areas.

  • Make cartons for packers when needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Ability to follow chemical-monitoring processes.

  • Ability to understand and address common process imbalances.

  • Previous experience with safe material-handling practices is preferred.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and respond to changing production needs.

  • Ability to follow written, verbal, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and work with tools or controls.

  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and potential electrical hazards.

  • Must provide closed-toe shoes.

Additional Information

  • Training will take place on 1st shift before the employee moves to the regular Monday–Friday, 2nd-shift schedule.

  • The facility may range from approximately 70°F in the winter to 110°F in the summer.

  • Employees may get dirty from liquids, grease, and oil.

  • Noise levels are usually moderate and may occasionally be loud.

  • PPE is provided, including gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
