Job details
We are looking for an experienced Office & Purchasing Coordinator for our client in Providence, RI.
- Shift: 7 – 4:30pm
- Pay: $24
Responsibilities:
- Serve as first point of contact; welcome and screen visitors
- Issue badges; notify staff of arrivals
- Maintain lobby/reception; coordinate customer visits and tours
- Manage shared spaces and conference rooms
- Stock breakroom and office supplies
- Handle mail, packages, and shipments
- Coordinate office vendors and support internal meeting logistics
- Purchase office, breakroom, PPE, and facility supplies
- Maintain supply inventory
- Process purchase orders/invoices with accounting
- Maintain vendor documents (W-9, insurance, contacts)
- Track annual questionnaires; assist with onboarding
- Organize SDS library and ensure accessibility
- Track chemical inventory and support labeling/hazard docs
- Maintain waste logs; support compliance documentation
- Coordinate company events and engagement activities
- Support logistics for meetings and celebrations
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of administrative or office management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
