Job details

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Little Rock, AR 72206

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Contract: 6 months initial contract.

Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent progressive work experience
• Three to five years of experience in practical data-entry operations preferred
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP, or equivalent software applications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong coaching and staff-development skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain accurate records and process data efficiently
• Ability to speak clearly and communicate information effectively
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety requirements
• Ability to walk, bend, twist, grip, climb stairs and ladders, enter confined spaces, and navigate rough terrain as required
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work around dust, fumes, dirt, chemicals, gases, smoke, noise, moving equipment, and other manufacturing-related conditions
• Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment and comply with company policies and workplace safety guidelines

Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to Plant Management
• Perform clerical duties for hourly employees related to Human Resources and Payroll
• Enter data accurately into SAP and other applicable computer systems
• Receive and process invoices, maintenance, repair, and operating supplies, and raw-material documentation in SAP
• Manage mail sorting and office-supply inventory
• Plan and coordinate meetings and special events
• Coordinate and manage housekeeping activities with staff
• Perform general data-entry activities
• Manage daily office processes and administrative tasks
• Coordinate monthly safety, production, and sales data reports
• Provide purchasing and receiving support in SAP and IOL
• Analyze data as needed for Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments
• Assist with raw-material management
• Maintain accurate and organized records
• Support Plant Management and department staff with administrative requests
• Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
