Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location: LaPorte, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-perm

Join a leading gas meter manufacturing company, committed to quality, innovation, and safety. We are seeking reliable and skilled Mechanical Assemblers to support our growing operations in LaPorte, TX.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components and gas meters according to specifications
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and schematics
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Assist with inventory management and material handling
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Willingness to follow safety protocols
