We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Meter Readers to support daily field service operations in the Moore, Oklahoma area. This position involves traveling to assigned locations to read water meters, complete meter-related work, and respond to daily work orders.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in the field, following work instructions, interacting professionally with customers or residents, and performing physically active work outdoors.

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Read and record water meter information accurately on a daily basis.
  

• Perform meter installations and related meter service activities.
  

• Complete meter turn-on and turn-off services as assigned.
  

• Respond to and complete daily work orders.
  

• Verify meter information and ensure readings are recorded accurately.
  

• Travel throughout assigned service areas to complete daily assignments.
  

• Communicate any issues, damaged equipment, access problems, or unusual meter conditions to the appropriate team.
  

• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers or residents.
  

• Perform other related field service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
  

• Previous experience in meter reading, field service, utilities, maintenance, construction, delivery, or a similar outdoor position is a plus.
  

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  

• Comfortable working independently and managing daily assignments.
  

• Good communication and customer-service skills.
  

• Basic computer or mobile-device skills for completing work orders and documenting field activities.
  

• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform other physical activities throughout the workday.
  

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
