Inspector/Packer – A2/B2 Night Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to inspect, weigh, package, and sort molded medical plastic components. This position requires strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a clean room environment while following documented procedures and quality standards.

Schedule

This position follows the client’s A2/B2 rotating schedule. Workdays and days off vary throughout the month according to the client calendar.

• Shift: 6:30 PM–6:30 AM
  

• Each shift spans two calendar dates.
  

• For example, a shift beginning October 2 at 6:30 PM ends October 3 at 6:30 AM.
  

• Employees must be available to work the assigned A2/B2 rotation, including varying workdays and days off.
  

• Company holidays and plant shutdown dates may affect the regular rotation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect molded medical plastic components for defects and quality issues.
  

• Perform visual inspections using magnification equipment as required.
  

• Manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
  

• Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
  

• Sort defective or nonconforming products according to established procedures.
  

• Complete production records, work orders, and other required documentation.
  

• Enter work-order and production data using a computer or touchscreen.
  

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  

• Follow all safety, quality, clean room, and company procedures.
  

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
  

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
  

• Ability to read and understand written procedures and work instructions.
  

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  

• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods, depending on the assigned machine or work area.
  

• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  

• Ability to occasionally move or lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous inspection, packaging, manufacturing, or production experience.
  

• Experience with inventory management systems.
  

• Experience working in a clean room or regulated manufacturing environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a clean room environment.
  

• The position may require sitting or standing for long periods.
  

• Employees may operate machinery and use computers or touchscreens to enter production data.
  

• Occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 25 pounds may be required.
  

• This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.
