- Pay rate: $17.50/hr.
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (possible overtime on Saturdays).
- Great short-term assignment (2–4 weeks) to put your skills to work and earn steady income right away.
- Work independently in a clean, safe, and organized facility environment.
What’s a typical day as a Janitor? You’ll be:
- Performing scheduled cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, including restocking paper and soap supplies.
- Emptying trash and waste bins throughout the Operations Center and ensuring proper disposal and recycling.
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas, including breakrooms, coffee stations, conference rooms, and waiting areas.
- Keeping entrances, exterior walkways, smoking areas, and dumpster areas clean and tidy.
- Dusting surfaces, railings, stairwells, and planters.
- Cleaning glass doors, window sills, tables, and polishing high-touch fixtures such as door handles.
- Straightening furniture and maintaining organization across all shared spaces.
- Responding quickly to daily service requests and specialized cleanup needs.
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining compliance with facility standards.
- Working independently to prioritize and complete daily tasks efficiently.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have previous janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience (preferred, but not required).
- Possess a solid understanding of basic cleaning practices, equipment, and facility upkeep.
- Are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Can perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Are able to communicate effectively in English (bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus).
