- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
What’s a typical day as a Shipping/Receiving Worker? You’ll be:
- Performing general warehouse tasks, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Moving, handling, and storing materials using appropriate equipment and standard processes.
- Using warehouse systems and RF scanners to track inventory and update transactions in real time.
- Verifying product accuracy and condition during handling, processing, and staging.
- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory movement and completed work.
- Supporting inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Preparing products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and staging orders.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily productivity and performance targets.
- Adapting to changing operational priorities and supporting multiple areas as needed.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Have 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or related environment (preferred).
- Possess a basic understanding of warehouse or logistics operations.
- Have experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS), or a strong willingness to learn.
- Are able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive movement.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented setting.
- Bring basic problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Show strong reliability, a dedicated work ethic, and basic computer proficiency.
