Electrical Technician – UAV / Prototype Electronics
3–4 Week Project | $25–$32/hr | 1st Shift | Van Buren Township, MI | ASAP Start
Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a short-term 3–4 week project supporting the build, integration, and testing of advanced UAV and prototype electronic systems.
We need someone who can start ASAP.
What You’ll Be Doing

Build and modify wire harnesses and cable assemblies
-
Cut, strip, crimp, solder, splice, and terminate wiring
-
Read schematics, wiring diagrams, pinouts, and engineering drawings
-
Assemble and install connectors, terminals, PCBs, sensors, and electronic components
-
Perform basic PCB rework and soldering
-
Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment
-
Perform continuity, polarity, resistance, and functional testing
-
Troubleshoot wiring, connector, power, and electronic issues
-
Support prototype modifications, bench testing, and system integration
What We’re Looking For
Candidates should have 2+ years of hands-on electrical/electronics experience, ideally involving:

Wire harness or cable assembly

Crimping and connector termination
-
Soldering
-
Electrical or electromechanical assembly
-
Reading schematics and wiring diagrams
-
PCB assembly or rework
-
Electrical troubleshooting
-
Multimeter and test equipment use
Experience with UAVs, avionics, robotics, aerospace, automotive electronics, IPC-A-610, or IPC/WHMA-A-620 is a plus.
