Kelly Science and Clinical has an opening for an Antibody Discovery Scientist for an engagement at one of our Global pharmaceutical clients in Spring House, PA. The role is eligible for medical benefits, paid time off including vacation (PTO), and holidays, and 401K. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM
Duration: Until end of 2027, possibility of extension
Compensation: $43-53 an hour 

Summary: In Silico Antibody Discovery
The Scientist will support high-throughput antibody screening within the New Discovery Paradigm matrix team. They will manage and execute the experimental characterization of antibody panels designed in silico.
A central focus of the role will be the optimization and execution of target-specific binding assays designed to identify molecules that meet Target Molecule Profile (TMP) criteria. The contractor will contribute across the full screening workflow, including reagent qualification, assay execution, data interpretation and E2E data capture.

 Responsibilities 

  • Performing flow cytometry-based cell binding assays and MSD-Based protein assays

  • Maintain cell in culture, and execute cell assays in BSL-2 conditions

  • Interpreting assay datasets to support hit identification

  • Identifying, qualifying, and documenting appropriate reagents and assay conditions to support robust hit identification.

  • Developing sensitive protein and cell binding assays for a variety of targets.

  • Review and interpret antibody and reagent quality control (QC) data. This includes assessing reagent suitability for assays and reporting quality issues.

  • Ensuring all assay results are captured within end-to-end (E2E) data systems, enabling transparency, traceability, and accessibility for stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BS degree in biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related scientific field.

  • Experience with flow cytometry-based cell-binding assays and MSD/ELISA protein assays.

  • Hands-on cell culture experience in BSL-2 environments.

  • Ability to develop, optimize, execute, and interpret antibody binding assays.

  • Experience analyzing flow cytometry data and using electronic laboratory notebook systems.

  • Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize work across multiple projects.

  • Detail-oriented with accurate documentation of reagents, QC data, assay results, and experimental outcomes.
