Day & Evening Shifts

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Pay: $18.00 per hour, plus applicable shift differential

Available Shifts

  • Day Shift: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

  • Evening Shift: 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Physical Security Console Operators to support onsite security operations at a large corporate facility in El Dorado Hills.

The Physical Security Console Operator monitors security systems, controls facility access, maintains accurate security records, responds to incidents, and supports the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Monitor CCTV cameras, event alarms, and access-control systems.

  • Monitor and regulate personnel access to the facility.

  • Maintain security records, historical logs, key-control information, and electronic inventory records.

  • Support the issuance, tracking, and management of identification cards and access badges.

  • Conduct fire-safety inspections and routine facility checks as directed.

  • Identify and promptly report unusual activity, safety concerns, or security issues.

  • Conduct initial incident investigations and escalate concerns according to established procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with Security, Facilities, management, and other departments.

  • Perform additional security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Comfortable using computers and learning security-related systems.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.

  • Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shift.

  • Ability to follow established procedures and escalation protocols.

  • Reliable attendance and availability for the selected shift.

  • Previous experience in security, surveillance, access control, control-room operations, dispatch, or a related field is preferred but not required.
