Production Associate | Direct Hire | Monday – Friday 10:00am-7:00pm | $22-25/hr. | Charleston, SC

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22-25/hr.
Shift: 10am-7pm M-F

What’s a typical day as Production Associate? You’ll be:
•    Operating and maintaining production systems and tools (e.g., mixing equipment, scales), including cleaning
•    Observing quality and reporting any deviations to supervisors throughout the production process
•    Ensuring full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
•    Maintaining quality management and utilizing department technology and techniques per work instructions
•    Supporting low-loss and low-emission production practices
•    Adhering to the production schedule and workload priorities set by the Production Supervisor
•    Managing inventory efficiently and communicating effectively within your team
•    Using internal computer programs (e.g., SAP) and following Lean Management / 5S principles
•    Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area while reporting health and safety concerns

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
•    Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a related environment
•    Are willing to receive hazardous waste training within 6 months of employment and annually thereafter
•    Demonstrate excellent communication skills for interactions with internal and external customers
•    Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); SAP experience is preferred
•    Can work independently, meet deadlines under pressure, and provide exemplary customer service
•    Are able to safely perform frequent walking, standing, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
•    Are comfortable with exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals, wearing a respirator, and passing fit testing
•    Can maintain regular and punctual attendance and follow directions provided by the supervisor
