Forklift Operator
Location: Pooler, GA
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Kelly Services is seeking a dependable and safety-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team and support warehouse operations in Pooler, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials throughout the facility, in strict compliance with safety and inventory protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload goods from containers and trailers.
  

• Transport palletized and crated materials throughout the warehouse.
  

• Place products in designated storage locations, following inventory control guidelines.
  

• Ensure all loads are properly secured prior to transport.
  

• Stack and organize empty pallets as needed.
  

• Conduct daily forklift and equipment inspections.
  

• Recharge forklifts or change propane tanks as necessary.
  

• Remove machine attachments and dispose of waste materials safely.
  

• Inspect materials and products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  

• Accurately maintain records and follow all operational instructions.
  

• Keep work areas neat, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  

• Complete all assignments in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Current forklift certification in accordance with OSHA standards (required).
  

• At least one year of forklift operation experience preferred.
  

• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
  

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
  

• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
  

• Capable of working safely near people, equipment, and materials.
  

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
