Job Overview:
Schneider is seeking a part-time, temporary Equipment Representative Sr to support optimal utilization of trailers and containers in designated markets. This position runs from October to the end of the year and is ideal for candidates looking for seasonal employment in the transportation field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customer service, planning, and operations teams to optimize trailer usage.
- Address customer issues affecting equipment utilization.
- Identify unused driver hours to maximize efficiency.
- Make informed equipment utilization decisions to improve company profitability.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two years of transportation or truck dispatch experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and judgement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is a temporary, seasonal position beginning in October and concluding at the end of December 2026.
