Kelly Services is currently seeking a Process Engineer/Investigations role for one of our top clients working in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. 

  • Kelly Outsourcing Consulting Group KellyOCG, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Process Engineer for a 12 month + engagement at one of our Global clients working onsite in Palm Beach Gardens,  FL.     This role is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer, Investigations to lead and support site-level nonconformance (NC) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations. This role will partner cross-functionally to identify root causes, develop effective corrective and preventive actions, and ensure investigations are completed with clear, technically sound documentation that meets applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong technical writing and collaboration skills and an interest in quality systems, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead site nonconformance (NC) and CAPA investigations, including issues related to:

    • Manufacturing and process performance

    • Calibration

    • Environmental conditions

    • Product quality and performance


  • Conduct thorough root-cause investigations using appropriate problem-solving and investigation methodologies.

  • Prepare clear, accurate, and technically sound investigation reports and supporting documentation.

  • Define and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions based on investigation findings.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

  • Provide awareness and compliance training as needed to support site quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with Quality Engineering, Operations, Supplier Quality Engineering, Receiving/Inspection, R&D, and other functional groups to resolve quality issues.

  • Monitor and track quality metrics associated with the timely completion of NCs, CAPAs, and observation actions.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure investigation activities and documentation are completed in accordance with applicable procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing, aerospace, or a related regulated industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to investigate complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective corrective actions.

Preferred

  • Experience with nonconformance, CAPA, deviation, or quality investigation processes.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Knowledge of root-cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.

  • Experience working with manufacturing, quality, engineering, or supplier-related issues.

  • Familiarity with applicable medical device quality and regulatory requirements.
