- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as the proactive voice of the customer in daily plant meetings with quality, logistics, and production teams.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- REQUIRED: Minimum 2+ years of customer service, material release, or account coordination experience within a manufacturing plant or Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive supplier environment.
- REQUIRED: Practical, hands-on experience entering orders and checking inventory within an enterprise ERP system (e.g., SAP, Plex, QAD, Microsoft Dynamics, or Epicor).
- REQUIRED: Working knowledge of automotive EDI order processes (releases, schedule adjustments, ASNs) and OEM/supplier portal navigation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (ability to track open orders, format reports, and utilize basic formulas).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage high-urgency timelines diplomatically across both plant floor teams and external customer buyers.
- Must be able to work 100% on-site in Taylor, MI, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
