Pay: $23.00 – $28.00/hr
Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
1st Shift: 5:00am – 3:00pm
2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 1:00am

We’re seeking detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technicians to support manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet customer, company, and regulatory quality standards. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy inspections, auditing processes, reviewing documentation, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect incoming raw materials, purchased components, outside vendor parts, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform first article inspections, first piece inspections, final inspections, and dock audits to verify product acceptance requirements are met.
- Audit manufacturing processes throughout production, including setup audits, routing audits, frequency audits, 5S audits, and safety audits.
- Train machine operators on inspection methods, quality requirements, and the proper use of inspection documentation when required.
- Utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment to verify product quality and dimensional requirements.
- Process returned goods and quality-related issues, including documentation, reporting, internal communication, and product sorting activities.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, first-piece documentation, certified operator records, and in-process quality documentation.
- Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives and reinforce ISO quality standards throughout manufacturing operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while supporting company quality objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing inspection, or a related production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and machining blueprints, including basic GD&T.
- Experience using inspection tools, measurement devices, and quality documentation processes.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email systems, and manufacturing databases.
- Understanding of quality systems, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
- Experience participating in audits, inspections, process verification, or corrective action activities.
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, Lean Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support production requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use inspection equipment, hand tools, computers, and related quality control instruments.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and accurately read measuring devices and instruments.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to production noise.
