Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, machine controls, and power distribution systems
- Repair and replace motors, sensors, relays, transformers, switches, and electronic components
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation
- Support continuous manufacturing operations by minimizing downtime
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
- Follow all plant safety standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman Electrician License or Electro-Mechanical Degree required
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Working knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
