CALIBRATION SERVICES COORDINATOR
Hillsboro, OR | Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility
$22/hour • Monday–Friday • 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
About the Role
Kelly is seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Services Coordinator to support a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility in Hillsboro. This role focuses on the administrative coordination and material-handling side of calibration services—not performing the actual recalibration of equipment. You will receive and sort measurement tools, scan and update records, and coordinate items through the service workflow so they reach the right internal team or outside provider and are returned to the appropriate destination.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, sort, identify, and route incoming and outgoing calibration tools and equipment.
- Scan items and maintain accurate records in databases and tracking systems.
- Coordinate service requests and status updates with internal teams and outside suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and track service requests, shipments, and returns.
- Review documentation for completeness and help resolve missing information or processing issues.
- Communicate with engineers, technicians, laboratory staff, and suppliers to keep the workflow moving.
- Keep work areas organized and follow facility quality, documentation, and safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; technical coursework, military technical training, or related experience is a plus.
- Experience in administrative support, shipping and receiving, inventory, records processing, or a fast-paced operations environment is helpful.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and comfort learning databases or tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple requests while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Calibration or metrology experience is not required; this position coordinates and tracks calibration services rather than recalibrating equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, bending, and twisting, with some sitting and walking.
- Lift and move tools and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently push carts requiring up to 50 pounds of push force.
- Work in multiple facility locations, including the receiving dock and laboratory; walk up to approximately one-quarter mile between locations.
Position Details
- Pay: $22 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Location: Hillsboro, Oregon
- Work environment: Semiconductor manufacturing facility; coordination with laboratory and operations teams
If you’re organized, comfortable working with records and equipment, and enjoy keeping operational details on track, we’d like to hear from you.
