Fabricator — Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $24–$26 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Overtime as needed.
We’re seeking a hands-on Fabricator to build pipe spool pieces to customer specifications. The ideal candidate has prior fabrication experience, can read blueprints, and is comfortable working with different pipe sizes and configurations.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate pipe spool pieces according to customer specifications.
- Line pipe with plastic when required.
- Cut and thread pipe, and work with a variety of pipe sizes and configurations.
- Use hand tools and perform other hands-on fabrication work.
- Perform occasional welding; welding is a small part of the role, and certification is not required.
- Handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Use a computer for basic shop-related tasks.
- Assist with other warehouse responsibilities as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and take direction from the Lead while working independently.
Qualifications
- Previous fabrication experience is required.
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to read blueprints and use a computer for basic tasks.
- Pipe fabrication, cutting, or threading experience is a plus.
- Welding experience is a plus; welding certification is not required.
- Reliable and able to work independently while following direction.
Training and Travel
Initial training will take place in Texas for approximately 2–4 weeks. The company will cover travel and training expenses. Training is expected to be completed once; return travel to Texas is not anticipated. The employee will remain in temporary status during training.
