Kelly Services
Pay: $28 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support inspections, testing, documentation, and quality improvement in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to help ensure products meet company and customer requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Collect and inspect incoming raw-material samples; report results to the Quality Manager.

  • Perform in-process, batching, and finished-goods testing.

  • Inspect products visually and dimensionally, verify labels, and check that specifications and tolerances are met.

  • Use measurement tools and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 tolerances.

  • Inspect electromechanical assemblies, cables, and harnesses in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620.

  • Maintain inspection records, checklists, and equipment calibration status.

  • Document and report inspection findings and nonconformances; help investigate issues and support corrective and preventive actions.

  • Monitor production operations and recommend ways to improve quality.

  • Help create and update work instructions, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation—including taking photos of assembly details.

  • Support production builds and train team members on inspection procedures as needed.

  • Analyze quality trends using tools such as SPC and Pareto charts.

What we’re looking for

A well-organized, hands-on team member with strong attention to detail, comfort working with technology and people, and good written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to complete tasks with limited supervision and explain technical processes clearly.
