Company: Kelly Services

Duration: 12-Months (Potential for extension)
Overview:
Join our dynamic global finance transformation team to support an AI-driven initiative enhancing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
The Senior AP Deployment Specialist serves as a dedicated Accounts Payable Operations representative assigned full-time to the global invoice intake and processing transformation program.
Acting as the AP Operations throughout the deployment lifecycle, the role supports discovery, process reviews, business requirement validation, testing, deployment readiness, go-live, hyper-care, and stabilization activities.
The position operates separately from day-to-day Accounts Payable processing teams, allowing business-as-usual operations to remain focused on service delivery while dedicated AP deployment specialists support the transformation program full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define user acceptance criteria and conduct system testing for AI-driven AP solutions
- Validate AI outputs and document new or revised business processes
- Support change management activities to drive workflow adoption
- Collaborate with leadership to monitor KPIs and progress towards objectives
- The role supports a global team and requires availability during U.S. business hours, with occasional evening meetings to collaborate with international stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Shared Services, Finance Operations, or AP transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, approvals, exception management, controls, and payment of readiness processes.
- Experience participating in UAT, deployment, go-live, hyper-care, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively across global teams and multiple countries.
- Proven, hands-on expertise in end-to-end Accounts Payable operations
- Experience with SAP and Ariba platforms (S/4HANA experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of procurement and P2P workflows
- Demonstrated involvement in software implementations, UAT, or digital transformation projects
- Excellent skills in process documentation and improvement
- Preferred Attributes:
- Previous experience with AI transformation or agentic workflows
- Consulting background or experience supporting large-scale technology initiatives
