- Organize parts held for chargeback appeals.
- Operate forklifts to move freight and stored parts; certification is required or must be obtained.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock in accordance with 5S standards.
- Support recycling activities, including metal and catalyst sorting and cardboard baling.
Warranty inspection and claim processing
- Inspect returned parts and help determine whether failures are warrantable.
- Document and process warranty chargebacks with supporting evidence, including photos and failure analysis.
- Review claims using systems and data sources such as National Service History, Salesforce, and CICS Mainframe.
- Support final warranty claim determinations involving NCIS, Engineering, and Supplier reviews.
Technical analysis and engineering support
- Provide engineering teams and suppliers with warranty investigation data and support root-cause analysis.
- Bench-test applicable parts, such as headlamps, fog lamps, and tail lamps, using ASIST, Electronic Wiring Diagrams, and Service Manuals.
- Contribute to special projects, including CVT collection and fraudulent claim investigations.
Dealer and system support
- Respond to dealer warranty and parts inquiries through Dealer360.
- Verify part applicability using the Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC).
- Assist with chargeback inquiries and claim validation.
Safety and continuous improvement
- Support system testing and enhancements, including updates to the MILS platform.
- Handle shipping, receiving, and disposal of hazardous materials such as batteries, fuel tanks, and airbags in accordance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Share feedback to improve processes and efficiency.
- Assist with general IT and system troubleshooting as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- High school diploma or GED; an associate or technical degree is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, automotive service, or warranty operations.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain it.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Experience working with data systems and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
