Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for a Quality Manager in Louisville, KY!
Shift: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility
A Direct Hire Opportunity
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage plant food safety systems to eliminate/mitigate food safety threats and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of production equipment and its impact on quality. Assist in new product development and oversee QC Lab and systems.
- Provide on-site assistance to customers, resolve complaints, and oversee customer sampling program.
- Serve as backup for Plant Manager and contribute to plant leadership team.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in food manufacturing management with demonstrated success in Quality roles.
- Strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, ability to think critically.
- Self-directed with the ability to manage associates and work independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Certification in Lean/Six-Sigma desired.
