Kelly Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Quality Technician in the Seadrift, Texas area! The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting the progress of goals which align to the site and regional TES quality strategies. In alignment with the TES Quality Manual and work process guidance this role oversees application of quality management systems aimed at eliminating product losses which result from maintenance operating discipline. This role will work closely with cross functional teams in defining quality control and quality assurance needs for daily, turnaround, and project work scopes.
Primary responsibilities:
- Support implementation and use of site turnaround quality strategies including project integration.
- Support re-work reporting process.
- Provide Quality Control and Quality Assurance Training.
- Facilitate creation and approval of Quality Control Plans, Quality Procedures, and Quality Assurance Checklists.
- Support Job Closure Work Process ensuring effective use of document management systems.
- Support Turnaround Quality Assurance and Return to Operations Work Process.
- Assist in development and application of maintenance quality strategies.
- Serve as a technical resource for scope and QC plan requirement assessments.
- Support vendor quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide quality work process support for maintenance pit stops.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance System
- Prior Maintenance Planning Experience
- Effective Communication Skills
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to Multi-task
- Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.
- Previous knowledge of maintenance work process or quality systems.
The work schedule for this role will be Monday through Thursday (4-10) with some required overtime during pit stops and turnarounds.
This role will be required to work both indoor and outdoor and in changing weather conditions. Climbing of structures will be required with ability to meet elevated work requirements.
