Kelly Services is partnering with a Customer in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and we have an immediate opening for a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician!
Wage: $25 – 30/hour based on experience
Schedule: Day Shift 10:00am – 6:30pm Monday – Friday
Location: Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
Responsibilities:
- Repair equipment safely, with as sense of urgency, as break downs occur
- Perform Preventative Maintenance according to system schedules
- Provide technical assistance for new equipment purchases and production floor modifications
- Execute and promote safety and risk assessment with all tasks
- Assemble required documentation to transfer new product designs to production.
- Perform & troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general repairs
- Assist in facility additions & renovations
- Understand that Maintenance Technician position is on call in the event of a production schedule emergency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Specialized Training/Schooling in Trades or Mechanical Institution (preferred)
- 10 years’ experience with electrical and NEC codes in a manufacturing environment.
- 10 years’ experience with mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in troubleshooting/programing PLCs and Fanuc Controls.
- Appropriate combination of education and experience may also be acceptable
- Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting
- An aptitude for trade skills in conjunction to facilities and equipment is essential for providing day to day reliability in regard to production
- All of duties and responsibilities MUST be done with a commitment and understanding of company safety policies such as LOTO, elevated work, PPE, Hot Work, and general workplace safety including Arc Flash
- Proficient and competent with technical tools, instructions, schematics, and drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
- Experience with CMM Software
- Basic shop math at a minimum
- Welding and fabrication
- Technical capacity including decision making, communication (both verbal and written) and reporting effectively internally and externally
