What’s a typical day as a Customer Service Call Center Professional? You’ll be:
- Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, written communication, web, or walk-in.
- Researching and resolving non-routine inquiries.
- Reviewing and adjudicating claims and non-medical appeals.
- Ensuring effective customer relations by providing accurate and timely responses.
- Handling situations that may require adaptation of response or extensive research.
- Examining and processing claims and appeals according to regulations and guidelines.
- Identifying and reporting potential fraud and abuse situations.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Have good spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
- Are proficient in basic business math.
- Can handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have at least 2 years of call center experience, including 1 year of claims or appeals processing.
- Can work onsite at the client location in Columbia, SC.
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
