Kelly Services is seeking a Systems Engineer for one of our top clients.

Length: 1 year
Type: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $negotiable/hr. (W2)
Schedule: Standard
Interview Process: Virtual or Onsite

Job Description:
 

  • Responsibilities include writing and maintaining automated tests of power consumption, as well as post-processing and reporting of test results.

  • You will also be responsible for running tests, analyzing test results against expectations, and debugging observed issues.

  • You’ll be running many different tests at a time across many different scenarios and need to keep careful track of the results – as well as the creativity and initiative to help us proactively identify new opportunities to improve our workflow.

  • Generate important metrics for day to day lab activities.

  • Conducts investigations and prepares reports to support investigations.

  • Maintain continuous operation of system level experiments in labs.

  • Write programs for data filtering, organization, reporting. Write programs for uploading to and maintaining data in SQL database. Develop basic data management and selection programs on SQL.

  • Maintain software traceability through GitHub

Qualifications:
 

  • Excellent coding skills in a scripting language (such as Python or JavaScript)

  • Experience with test automation

  • Excellent ability to analyze and debug problems

  • Experienced in a lab setting, bringing a can-do attitude with a willingness to take ownership and get results.

  • Excellent organizational skills and self-sufficient

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and curious spirit and willing to work in fast pace team.

  • Possess a high level of attention to details.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in CS/EE or equivalent

  • 2-4 years of industry experience as system engineer, embedded system engineer or data analyst. Battery Engineering / Electrical Engineering experience desired.
