Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Material Handler for our facility in Bothell, WA. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in providing material movement and logistical support to internal and external customers in support of cellular therapeutic manufacturing. This position requires knowledge of cGMP regulations, experience in distribution and inventory control practices, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Specifications:
– Job Type: 12 month
– Location: Bothell, WA
– Pay Rate: $25.42 per hour
– Shift: Sunday-Tuesday 5:00pm-5:30am and Alternating Saturdays 5:00pm-5:30am
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide material movement and logistical support to internal and external customers during process transfers, routine production, and technology improvements
– Complete internal customer support assignments with high quality and timely output
– Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and FDA guidance applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing
– Manage distribution, receiving, temperature storage, issuance, and inventory control practices including cycle counting and rejected/expired material disposition
– Monitor controlled temperature, humidity, and pest control in cGMP environments
– Coordinate transportation lanes and cold chain logistical movement of time-critical and temperature-sensitive biologics
– Handle freight forwarder and courier direct shipments and associated documentation requirements
– Utilize material handling equipment, including gas-powered, electric, and manual equipment
– Maintain a valid driver’s license
Qualifications & Skills:
– 0-2 years of experience in a cGMP warehouse environment
– Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance applicable to biologics and cell therapy manufacturing
– Familiarity with distribution, receiving, temperature storage, issuance, and inventory control practices
– Understanding of controlled temperature, humidity, and pest control monitoring in cGMP environments
– Knowledge of transportation lanes and cold chain logistical movement of biologics
– Experience with freight forwarder and courier direct shipments and associated documentation requirements
– Proficiency in using material handling equipment, including gas-powered, electric, and manual equipment
– Valid driver’s license
– Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
