Facility Manager – Gilroy, CA
 
Overview:
The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of all radiopharmacy operations within the site, adhering to standards set by the company. They play a pivotal role in upholding quality and safety protocols.
 
Details:
Salary: $160k+/year with additional 20% incentive bonus yearly
Shift: Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm with occasional work on Saturdays
Job Type: Direct-hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of all radiopharmaceutical products at the facility, ensuring timely doses to meet daily orders.

  • Supervise day-to-day radiopharmacy operations and maintain oversight of facility and staff.

  • Collaborate with the New Products Group to introduce and sustain novel radiopharmaceutical production for clinical trials.

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams and uphold professionalism aligned with company culture standards.

  • Implement and maintain processes to ensure facility operations meet schedule and budget requirements for radiopharmaceutical demands.

  • Oversee inventory management, procurement, and inventory monitoring.

  • Manage radiopharmaceutical production processes including synthesis, QC/QA, and dispensing.

  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and manage delivery schedules.

  • Maintain facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Ensure health and safety compliance, particularly in radiation safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with Regional Directors of Operations to achieve targets for revenue, quality, safety, and production yields.

  • Maintain accurate records and reporting of radiopharmacy performance and quality assurance metrics.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain quality assurance protocols.

  • Foster a culture of quality customer service and uphold company QA standards.

  • Maintain compliance with state Board of Pharmacy standards.

  • Respond to emergencies while upholding quality assurance standards.

  • Foster open communication among site departments and maintain a balanced work environment.

 
Qualifications:

  • Pharm.D. from an accredited college preferred.

  • CA State license preferred, however licenses from other states will be considered

  • Background in Nuclear Pharmacy, Positron Emission Tomography, or related fields preferred (Company is willing to pay for education in nuclear pharmacy).

  • Proficiency in MS Office required; experience with Windows-based pharmacy systems preferred.

  • Experience with Quality processes for manufacturing and production preferred.

  • Understanding of Quality (QC/QA) with respect to regulatory compliance strongly preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand or remain seated for extended periods.

  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Up to 10% domestic travel required for workshops and customer visits.
