Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $24 – $28 DOE, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities: As a Welding Quality Inspector, your daily tasks include:
- Conducting thorough inspections to ensure products meet quality and contractual specifications.
- Adhering to all company safety and quality protocols.
- Guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and specifications for materials and workmanship.
- Analyzing welding specifications and assisting the team in addressing fabrication challenges.
- Documenting and segregating non-conforming materials and workmanship.
- Collaborating with site management and shop supervisor to rectify non-conformances.
- Ensuring Welding Specification Procedures (WPS) are current and implemented.
- Supervising or conducting Welder Qualification Test Reports (WQTR) in accordance with industry standards.
- Staying updated with industry licenses, code analysis, and procedures.
- Coordinating with Quality Assurance and Site Managers to develop annual employee training programs.
- Representing the company in field investigations related to product quality and conformity.
- Operating overhead crane safely.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
- Performing other assigned duties.

- Have received welding inspection training.
- Possess knowledge of welding codes like AWS, City of LA standards, API, UL, or STI.
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting contract documents and blueprints.
