$39,000 to $48,000 annually based on experience 
Temp to hire position to start immediately 
**Required- bilingual in Spanish and English

What’s a typical day as an HR Generalist? You’ll be:
• Providing primary departmental support for a wide range of Human Resources responsibilities including Associate relations, benefits, compensation, FMLA and other leaves of absence, 401k, training, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, policy implementation, and recruiting.
• Working closely with all Associates to answer questions and concerns regarding HR and the Company, looking for opportunities to improve current practices.
• Working with leadership to ensure the effective use of disciplinary counseling and consistency throughout the company.
• Responding to Associate and Leader questions related to vacation, attendance, and compensation policies.
• Completing the orientation and induction process for new hires.
• Administering benefit programs and assisting in the benefit renewal process.
• Monitoring and tracking Associate leaves (FMLA and personal) to ensure consistency and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensuring all work areas meet 5S standards.
• Participating in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Maintaining Human Resources Information System records and compiling reports from the database.
• May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources, or an Associate’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience.
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of relevant employment laws.
• Have outstanding interpersonal skills necessary for creative problem-solving.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Windows software including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Have PHR or SPHR Certification (a plus).
