General Description
Responsible to service the material handling requirements of the manufacturing area with the responsibility for continuous improvement, quality and safety.
Shift Time: Monday to Friday 3:00pm-11:05pm
Pay Rate: $19-$21/hour depending on experience
Essential Job Function
-
Ensure that production materials move as swiftly as possible
-
Remove and replace final assembly boxes and move them to their final destination
-
Responsible for the storage of components
-
Responsible for filling vibratory bowls and hoppers with required components when necessary
-
Prepares materials during production changeover
-
Removal and replacement of benders as required
-
Responsible to load outgoing freight and unload incoming freight
-
Required to operate stacking and other automatic lifting machines with reasonable care
-
Ensures housekeeping and health and safety standards are maintained
-
Adheres to all corporate and plant level rules and regulations
-
Supports an attitude of teamwork and contributes to continuous improvement
-
Understands the importance of quality and assists in the achievement and maintenance of QS 9000/TS 16949 certification
-
Understands the importance if the environment and assist in the achievement and maintenance of ISO 14001 certification
-
Supports the ICARE program

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Valid drivers license

Valid Forklift license

Written and verbal communication skills
