Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • $40,000-$60,000/yr.

 

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What’s a typical day as a Commercial Lines Sales Representative? You’ll be:

  • Responding to inquiries from Agency insureds, prospects, and Producers.

  • Completing applications, rating and quoting risks for new and renewal business.

  • Scanning all correspondence and attaching it to appropriate client’s file in the management system.

  • Processing miscellaneous changes, billing inquiries, endorsements, and cancellations.

  • Preparing policies and endorsements for delivery.

  • Forwarding claim inquiries to our claim representative and/or carrier.

  • Preparing key accounts for review, updating files, account information, and preparing recommendations for upgrading coverages.

  • Performing data entry.

  • Handling any other duties assigned as appropriate for the position.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are NYS Licensed with a minimum of three years of Property & Casualty Insurance experience in the independent Agency environment.

  • Have telephone etiquette, a friendly outgoing personality, and are a person of character and integrity.

  • Are computer savvy with the ability to learn new software, with present knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Have experience with AMS360 agency management system (a plus).
