Today, we are proud to offer a direct hire opportunity for a Scientist III/IV position with our client, a leader in the Pharmaceutical industry, located in Hatfield, PA.

Scientific explorers wanted. Pack your gear for an adventure you won’t find any place else. We are searching for the right person to lead a team of young scientists exploring the measurement and use of biomarkers for drug and medical research.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will participate in analytical development activities using state of the art mass spectrometry technology. 

  • These activities include the development of LC-MS based analytical methods, the qualification and validation of analytical methods, and provision of analytical support for the analysis of small and large biologically relevant molecules in biological matrices in line with project timelines. 

  • You will assist with planning of resources for projects and be a resource for analytical expertise on a project.  In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to apply your enthusiasm and technical skills as a member of a small startup in the Philadelphia region.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or MS in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields with a focus on life sciences and 3 – 5 years of experience in bioanalysis preferred.

  • You are highly self-motivated and eager to learn.  You are creative and able to use initiative for independent work.  You enjoy solving problems.

  • A good understanding and working knowledge of various analytical methods for chemical analysis and protein characterization is essential.

  • Experience with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and/or mass spectrometry (MS) is required.

  • You can work independently or in a team under minimal supervision to design and conduct experiments, as well as interpret, document, and communicate results.

  • You have well-developed project management skills.

  • You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and effective team-working skills.

  • You must be willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and be capable of handling multiple tasks while meeting timelines.
