DIRECT HIRE – Senior Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) Business Partner
Location: Hunt Valley, MD (On-site)
Position Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Salary: 120K – $140K salary – depending on experience
Position Overview
One of our top clients is seeking a Senior MARCOM Business Partner to lead strategic marketing and communications initiatives. This role is highly focused on developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for aerospace and defense products to support business development and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal centers of excellence—including Creative Services, Digital Development, External Communications, Employee & Leader Communications, and Trade Shows & Events—to design, execute, and measure multichannel MARCOM plans that differentiate the organization in a competitive marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with assigned business lines and the broader MARCOM team to create, execute, and measure annual MARCOM plans and campaigns that support domain growth.
- Research stakeholder audiences, competitor landscapes, and market trends to inform product positioning and craft compelling value propositions.
- Establish and support product/program MARCOM campaigns across digital, social, and print channels to drive revenue.
- Maintain complete accountability for timelines and budgets associated with plans and campaigns for assigned domains.
- Lead the creative development process for collateral, video, and advertising by collaborating cross-functionally and with external partners.
- Coordinate and execute photo and video shoots, including developing shot lists/storyboards and managing necessary legal and security checks.
- Ensure timely project initiation to allow for proper production and required internal/external approval workflows.
- Adhere to established corporate policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Support local, regional, national, or international events, including trade shows, demonstrations, conferences, and industry meetings.
Position Requirements
- Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience developing, executing, and measuring strategic MARCOM plans and campaigns. Experience within the aerospace and defense industry supporting business development is highly preferred (experience in other highly regulated industries like finance or healthcare will be considered).
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Software Proficiency: Strong Microsoft Office skills. Functional experience using third-party content management systems and MARCOM software tools (such as Sprout, Hive, SharePoint, Bynder, or Gather Content) is preferred.
- Portfolio Requirement: A professional portfolio must be submitted for review. Documents and materials in the portfolio must be original works generated without the use of AI tools.
- Communication Skills: Exemplary writing, editing, and professional verbal communication skills to successfully interact with employees and leadership at all levels.
- Core Competencies: Superior attention to detail, proven cross-functional project planning skills, a resourceful problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
