Job Description: Arabic Medical Interpreter (Remote – Canada)

We are hiring Arabic Medical Interpreters to support critical communication needs across Canada via audio (OPI) and video (VRI) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time interpretation between English and Arabic speakers

  • Facilitate communication in healthcare, insurance, legal, and financial settings

  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity on every call

  • Deliver interpretation via audio and video platforms

  • Participate in training, quality monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Arabic (speaking & comprehension)

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace with high-speed internet

  • Strong listening skills, emotional intelligence, and composure

  • Commitment to three weeks of full-time paid training

  • Medical or healthcare experience is an asset (not required)

VRI/Hybrid Readiness & Performance Expectations

  • Equipment & Technical: Company-approved device, headset, proper camera/lighting

  • Appearance & Professionalism: Neutral, professional attire; posture, demeanor, and eye contact matter

  • Call Readiness & Reliability: Prompt acceptance of calls; report technical issues immediately

  • Performance Monitoring: Participate in QA checks, refresher training, and skill evaluations

  • Career Development: Consistency in accuracy and professionalism opens opportunities for supervisory or leadership roles
