Associate Chemist- Hackensack, NJ
Job Summary:
The Associate Chemist is responsible for supporting batch scale-up activities and managing the stability sampling program to ensure product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with batching, filling, labeling, and monitoring of product stability samples.
- Support the execution and maintenance of the stability program, including sample pulls and documentation.
- Document, analyze, and interpret experimental data under supervision to support technical conclusions and reporting.
- Investigate product or process-related issues, conduct research, and escalate findings appropriately.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines and deadlines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytical Testing, Regulatory Affairs, Process Development, Manufacturing, and other technical support teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Knowledge in product stability or related laboratory experience.
- Strong understanding of raw material functionality, properties, and their impact on finished products.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
