Veteran Disability Examiner (NP/PA/MD/DO) — Kelly Government Solutions
Flexible options from your own office or on a Per Diem in Jacskonville, Pensacola, Tallahassee or on a travel basis — Nationwide
Kelly Government Solutions is seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Physicians (MD and DO) to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) Examinations for Veterans applying for disability benefits with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). We are committed to making a positive impact by helping veterans navigate the disability evaluation process with thorough, unbiased, and compassionate care.

- Make up to $4,500+ per week!
- Earnings are fee-for-service and based on the number and type of DBQs (Disability Benefit Questionnaires) completed per evaluation

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical disability evaluations for veterans, including medical history review, physical examination, and assessment of disability impact.
- Review claim details, perform focused assessments, analyze medical records and diagnostic results.
- Render objective, evidence-based medical opinions regarding disability and functional impact.
- Document findings and recommendations clearly in reports aligned with VA guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed for thorough evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal regulations, VA training requirements, and HIPAA protocols.
- Uphold high ethical standards and maintain objectivity in all disability evaluation processes.
- Participate in required annual HIPAA compliance assessment.
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted license as an NP, PA, MD, or DO in any U.S. state or territory.
- Business entity (LLC, PLLC, INC..etc)
- EIN
- Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience; experience in disability evaluations or occupational health preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Malpractice insurance, business liability insurance and worker’s comp if applicable
- Authorized to work in the United States and meet federal contractor guidelines.
- Physical ability to conduct comprehensive physical exams.
- Commitment to veteran care, empathy, and ethical standards.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and computer work.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally and engage in full range of motion for physical exams.
- Approximately 10% travel required (additional travel for training/company events as needed).
