- Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour plus $1.25 shift differential
- Location: Mentor, OH
- Schedule: 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday – Thursday
- Employment Type: 6-month contract
What’s a typical day as a Precision Assembler? You will:
- Performs assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA-regulated devices in a controlled work environment.
- Learn and carry out detailed work instructions.
- Assemble components including gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, and welding using various hand tools and bench-top pneumatic presses.
- Handle and evaluate the quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions.
- Promote and support a safe working environment.
- Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems related to production, parts, equipment, or processes.
- Work effectively with others in a team environment.
- Adhere to shop practices, including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support and promote LEAN operations by following standard work, including safety observations, idea generation, and Hour-by-Hour board updates.
- Meet quality assurance requirements and complete associated documentation.
