Maintenance Technician
Location: Farmersville, TX
Pay: $20–$25+ per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our corrugated converting facility by ensuring that machinery, equipment, and the workplace are well-maintained and operating safely. Your role will be vital in minimizing downtime and maintaining a seamless production process.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and upkeep on facility machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify and resolve issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.

  • Equipment Installation & Improvements: Assist with setting up new machinery or enhancing current equipment to improve efficiency and safety.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all established safety guidelines, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.

  • Documentation: Keep thorough and accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs performed, and equipment performance.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with supervisors, warehouse personnel, and external contractors as necessary.

  • Work Area Maintenance: Ensure that all maintenance and work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical Abilities: Experience with troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (training provided as needed).

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively address technical challenges.

  • Safety Awareness: Solid understanding of relevant safety standards and practices in an industrial environment.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and leadership.

  • Physical Demands: Capable of standing, walking, and lifting heavy items as required for the role.

  • Experience: Previous background in warehouse, manufacturing, or corrugated environments is a plus.

  • Training Opportunities: Access to in-house and external training to expand your maintenance skillset.
