Kelly Government Solutions is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses with strong, recent critical care experience for a full-time opportunity supporting a federal medical center in Houston, TX.

We are currently hiring for DAY and NIGHT 12-hour shifts.

Compensation

• $56.36/hour base pay; Additional $5.09/hour Health & Welfare benefit (H&W can be rolled into hourly if you aren’t taking health benefits)
  

• Employees who waive company benefits may be eligible to receive the Health & Welfare amount as additional taxable wages, up to 40 hours per week

Who We’re Looking For

This opportunity is designed for nurses with strong, current hands-on ICU experience caring for high-acuity, critically ill patients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (CCNE or ACEN)
  

• Active, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
  

• Current BLS certification
  

• Current ACLS certification
  

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care nursing experience within the past 5 years
  

• Strong, recent hands-on ICU experience
  

• Level I trauma center ICU experience strongly preferred
  

• Ability to meet federal credentialing and background screening requirements

Position Overview

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

You will assess patient needs, plan and implement nursing care, monitor patient status, evaluate outcomes, and respond appropriately to changes in condition while supporting the mission of the Veterans Health Administration.

Day and Night Shift opportunities are currently available

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
  

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
  

• Additional shifts may be available
  

• Four weekend shifts per month
  

• Schedule released monthly to support advance planning
