Job Title: Material Handler/Fork Truck Operator
Overview:
You will play a vital role in day-to-day material handling operations, ensuring accurate inventory counts and supporting production processing. Working collaboratively, you’ll help us achieve our organizational goals while maintaining a safe and productive environment.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay Rate: $19.44/hour base, with additional shift differential depending on assigned shift
- Available Shifts:

- A Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 AM (40 hrs/week) ($1.25/hr shift differential)
- C Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (40 hrs/week) )$.75/hr shift differential)
- A Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 AM (40 hrs/week) ($1.25/hr shift differential)
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience operating lift trucks (e.g., sit-down double fork, sit-down clamp)
- Successful completion of forklift training program or ability to demonstrate safe forklift operation during an on-site test
- Prior forklift training or current certification preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Pactiv Forklift and Safety Certifications
- Proficient with warehouse tools, scanners, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as a supportive team member
- Excellent safety awareness and responsible vehicle operation
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other equipment to move raw and finished goods and materials
- Efficiently load and unload trucks, manage staging areas, and organize inventory within a high-volume environment
- Utilize WMS tools for accurate order picking, load management, and inventory control
- Verify product counts, IDs, destinations, and complete all necessary documentation
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and documented procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace
- Demonstrate familiarity with emergency procedures and safety equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Exposure to varying seasonal temperatures
- Possible contact with dust, machine noise, and typical warehouse conditions
- Ability to remain focused and alert during repetitive or occasional strenuous activity
- Able to sit, stand, bend, crawl, climb stairs/ladders, and carry up to 40 lbs
- Regular use of hands, wrists, fingers, and joints for equipment operation
