Regulatory Specialist – Product Stewardship (EPA / Chemical Compliance)

 Malvern, PA (Hybrid/Onsite)
 $105k + Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a Regulatory Specialist with strong chemical product stewardship experience to support a global portfolio of disinfectant, antimicrobial, and specialty chemical products. This role ensures regulatory compliance across U.S. EPA requirements and international chemical regulations while supporting product commercialization and lifecycle strategy.

This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on global product approvals, labeling compliance, and regulatory strategy execution.


What you’ll do

  • Act as subject matter expert for EPA-regulated disinfectant and antimicrobial products

  • Own product stewardship and regulatory compliance strategy across global markets

  • Manage EPA FIFRA registrations, renewals, and submissions

  • Support FDA annual reporting (as applicable to product line overlap)

  • Coordinate state-level registrations and global regulatory filings

  • Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hazard communications

  • Ensure labeling compliance across domestic and international markets

  • Translate regulatory changes into business impact summaries for leadership

  • Support regulatory agency interactions, audits, and inspections

  • Provide guidance to R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams

  • Track evolving chemical regulatory frameworks (EPA, EU, global standards)

What we’re looking for

  • 5–8 years in Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, or Chemical Compliance

  • Direct experience with EPA FIFRA regulations strongly preferred

  • Background in disinfectants, antimicrobials, biocides, or specialty chemicals

  • Experience in industries such as:

    • Industrial chemicals

    • Consumer hygiene products

    • Cleaning/disinfection products

    • Specialty manufacturing


  • Strong experience with:

    • SDS authoring/maintenance

    • Product labeling compliance

    • Regulatory submissions and renewals


  • Ability to interpret global chemical regulatory requirements

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
