Pay Rate: $34-$40/hr, based on experience
1st shift: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)

What’s a typical day as Electrical Mechanical Technician? You’ll be:
- Independently troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding complex electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatically controlled production equipment.
- Installing and troubleshooting AC and DC circuits and equipment (24vdc, 120/208/480vac).
- Programming, troubleshooting, and networking PLCs, as well as AC drives and HMI panels.
- Performing preventive and predictive maintenance, planning operational sequences, and minimizing production delays.
- Collaborating with Engineering to design, select, modify, and adapt equipment or procedures for specific projects.
- Testing, calibrating, and repairing electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical devices to established standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of work orders, PMs, materials, and parts in the maintenance system.
- Effectively communicating with co-workers and team leaders, contributing to continuous improvement activities.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with 3 years’ experience, or a minimum of 7 years of industrial experience in a skilled electrical trade with PLC experience (without formal education).
- Possess certifications in Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) systems (preferred).
- Own your own trade tools and have formal electronic training on AC/DC circuits.
- Demonstrate advanced PLC knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with blueprints, schematics, and various hand/power tools.
- Are experienced in mechanical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Communicate effectively and work with a team, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Adhere strictly to attendance expectations and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Are committed to safe work practices and organizational policies.
- Can read, write, and speak English, perform basic math, and use computers for work orders and documentation.
