CNC Mill / Lathe Machinist
? Location: Anaheim, CA

? Pay Rate: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE)
? Schedule: Monday – Friday

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

We are seeking a CNC Mill / Lathe Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is an integral part of the shop floor and supports standalone CNC milling and lathe operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, fixture, and operate CNC mill machines.

  • Run multiple jobs simultaneously while maintaining production efficiency.

  • Measure and inspect parts according to travelers, work instructions, and blueprints.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and shop productivity efforts.

  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.

  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 1–3 years of CNC milling experience preferred.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • CNC programming experience using GibbsCAM or Mastercam.

  • Knowledge of various metals and alloys used in machining.

  • Experience with quality inspection techniques.

  • Documented quality training.

  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles.

  • Experience operating manual Bridgeport mills, lathes, and grinders.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted.

  • Stand for extended periods (8+ hours).

  • Ability to bend, maneuver in tight spaces, and perform repetitive motions.

  • Use hands to operate tools, controls, and precision instruments.
