Job Summary
As a Lift Truck Operator 1 (LTO1), you will play an essential role on our warehouse team, supporting daily material handling and inventory operations. Your responsibilities will include counting inventory, loading and unloading shipments, staging and storing product pallets, and processing production receipts. You’ll work alongside fellow team members to achieve organizational goals while maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive workplace.


Compensation & Shifts

  • Hourly Rate: $19.32 per hour base pay, with additional shift differentials.

  • A Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (40 hours/week), $1.25/hr shift differential.

  • C Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (40 hours/week), $0.75/hr shift differential.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience operating lift trucks (e.g., sit-down double fork, sit-down clamp) in a warehouse environment.

  • Successful completion of forklift training or proven safe operation during an on-site test is required.

  • Prior forklift certification or recent training strongly preferred.

Core Skills

  • Ability to attain and maintain valid Forklift and Safety Certifications.

  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, scanners, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Capable of working independently and as a collaborative team member.

  • Committed to operating equipment safely and responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move finished goods and materials as needed.

  • Load and unload trucks in accordance with department procedures and standards.

  • Stage materials and finished products in a fast-paced production setting.

  • Utilize WMS tools for inventory and shipping management (pick lists, PGI, etc.).

  • Ensure accuracy in product counts, identification, order destinations, and carrier information, and accurately complete all necessary documentation.

  • Load inbound and outbound shipments using PIC sheets or forklift load functions.

  • Execute material transfers precisely and in alignment with established procedures.

  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, Leader Standard Work (LSW), and company policies.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.

  • Complete daily forklift inspection checklists and change propane tanks as needed.

  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Work may involve exposure to extreme temperatures and typical warehouse conditions, including dust and machine noise.

  • Must maintain focus and awareness while performing tasks.

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.

  • Frequent physical activity: sitting, kneeling, bending, climbing stairs, carrying up to 40 lbs, reaching, standing, walking.

  • Occasional activity: stooping, squatting, climbing ladders or steps, twisting or bending.

  • Repetitive use of wrists, hands, fingers, shoulders, elbows, hips, ankles, head, and neck.
