Job Title: CVE Test Engineer
Location: Longmont, CO – Onsite
Duration: 1 year with possible extensions
Pay: $60.00 – $63.00 (based on experience)
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for validating pre-production server, switch, HBA, RAID adapter, and retimer products from the clients’ partners. The position emphasizes technical ownership, test strategy development, and cross functional collaboration to improve validation quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Ownership
• Review and enhance test plans, coverage, and execution to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Recommend and implement enhanced validation methodologies and tools.
Requirements & Strategy
• Maintain expertise in product functionality and relevant industry certifications.
• Define validation strategies aligned with project scope and delivery timelines.
• Identify appropriate test equipment and resources.
Test Design & Development
• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases.
• Define and execute automation strategies supporting internal test frameworks.
• Continuously improve validation processes and methodologies.
• Partner with CVE and product design teams to align test coverage with firmware and hardware architecture.
• Support shift left initiatives to detect issues earlier in the development cycle.
Test Execution & Reporting
• Prepare SSD and server samples for validation.
• Execute validation plans and monitor test efficiency.
• Analyze results, including Pareto and trend analysis.
• Produce clear, concise validation reports and maintain document revision history.
Defect Management
• Drive root cause analysis and resolution of defects from internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Ensure reproducible failure documentation with clear traceability.
• Communicate risk and collaborate across teams to assess results and manage deviations.
