Pay Rate: 22.50-23.00
Hours: 3pm-11:30pm

Schedule 2B: Days Off – Sunday & Monday
Schedule 2C: Days Off – Wednesday & Thursday
Schedule 2D: Days Off – Tuesday & Wednesday


Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Extrusion Machine Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating and setting up extrusion equipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting packaging and labeling processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up extrusion machines based on production orders and technical specifications

  • Operate extrusion equipment to produce materials such as nylon film, rubber, and infusion mesh

  • Monitor production quality and identify defects (e.g., bubbles, uneven output)

  • Adjust machine settings such as speed and temperature to maintain quality standards

  • Collect product samples for quality control testing

  • Label and package finished goods according to work order instructions

  • Pull raw materials from inventory and stage for production use

  • Review work orders and engineering drawings prior to production runs

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S standards)

  • Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies

  • Wear required PPE, including a respirator during machine setup

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred

  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions

  • Basic understanding of mechanical processes and equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Manufacturing/production setting

  • Requires standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed

  • Must be able to wear PPE, including a respirator

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
