Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Winsted, CT
Schedule: Monday – Friday (1st or 2nd Shift Available| Training on 1st Shift)
Pay Rate: $21/hour

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be hands-on with inspection processes and quality systems that directly impact production success:

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet detailed specifications and quality standards

  • Perform lot sampling using established sampling plans

  • Process and prepare materials for inspection and testing

  • Maintain Level II certification (Q2607D) and follow all inspection protocols

  • Verify calibration of inspection equipment before use

  • Monitor and maintain chemical tanks and solutions (testing, adjusting, retesting)

  • Review and document solution test results for compliance

  • Conduct visual inspections and post-etch bake processes

  • Accurately record and communicate inspection results

  • Identify nonconforming products and initiate discrepancy reports

  • Ensure full traceability of materials, lots, and samples

  • Plot and track inspection data using control charts when required

  • Follow updated procedures and specifications as they are released

  • Maintain acid neutralization systems and complete required documentation

  • Safely handle waste disposal processes

  • Report equipment issues or abnormal results to QA or leadership

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-driven, and ready to take ownership of quality:

  • Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures

  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and specifications

  • Familiarity with inspection tools and basic calibration practices

  • Comfortable with documentation, reporting, and record-keeping

  • Understanding of control charts or quality tracking methods is a plus

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
